First, to kick this off, no one was able to solve last week’s Where Is It Wednesday so let’s take care of old business and resolve that one before moving on to today’s, shall we?
This was the photo:
And the answer is…Place de la Concorde. This is a memorial in the wall that parallels the rue de Rivoli, just at the entrance to the Métro station Concorde. It’s a memorial to the people killed at the Place de la Concorde during the liberation of Paris from the Nazis in August, 1944. Sorry! Didn’t mean to be so tricky…

After a little hiatus where I replaced the cell phone dropped in the toilet (don’t get me started), I’m back with Paris by Cell Phone.
