This Site is Very Moving…

or at least very moved.

I’ve decided to divide this site into two sites so all the usual fun stuff you find here won’t be here anymore!

If you’re looking for Paris By Cell Phone photos, I keep that over here: Paris By Cell Phone

If you’re looking for my photo blogs about all things Paris, I now keep that with my Paris Fiction, over here: Paris Inspired.

Thanks for your patience and for helping me move!

Where Is It Wednesday? 2011-04-27

Paris By Cell Phone: April 27, 2011: Where Is It Wednesday?

First, to kick this off, no one was able to solve last week’s Where Is It Wednesday so let’s take care of old business and resolve that one before moving on to today’s, shall we?

This was the photo:

And the answer is…Place de la Concorde. This is a memorial in the wall that parallels the rue de Rivoli, just at the entrance to the Métro station Concorde. It’s a memorial to the people killed at the Place de la Concorde during the liberation of Paris from the Nazis in August, 1944. Sorry! Didn’t mean to be so tricky…

Hopefully this week’s will be easier for you.

Paris by Cell Phone: Freaky Friday

After a little hiatus where I replaced the cell phone dropped in the toilet (don’t get me started), I’m back with Paris by Cell Phone.

For those of you who forgot the concept: check out this page which explains where I’m coming from and why I took pictures of it. Here, then is today’s entry:

Freaky Friday

The French version of the Hall Pass movie poster is very…French and certain to be the “butt” of many jokes.

You think that’s bad? Check out this advertisement for the children’s film, Rio.

Hilari-ass

i think i smell a marketing tr-end.

Magic & Lore: The Art of Dennis Nona

Following up on my “Magic & Lore” article Bonjour Paris, these are some shots I took at the Dennis Nona show at the Australian Embassy. It’s on until May 20, and I highly recommend you visit it if you get the chance!
