Where It Was Wednesday

I’ll give Genie an “A” for effort, but unfortunately cannot accord her the coveted Chupa Chups badge. But before we get into that, here is another sculpture I like from the same area.

This is the “Tête Monumentale” (“Monu-mental Head”) by Igor Mitoraj. It’s found at the KPMG Building / Immeuble KPMG, La Défense, Paris.

Now, for the answer to last week’s “Where Is It Wednesday?”

The statue is “Les Hommes de la Cité” by France & Hughes Siptrott, and it’s located at the entrance to the “Paris” métro station Esplanade de la Défense (and not at The Grande Arche de la Défense).

Thanks for playing and better luck to y’all next week!

    • Cool huh? I played with the picture a little on Picasa to get it to look like that.
