Le Génie de la Liberté

Snapped this shot a few days ago when Paris Karin and I were hunting down the remnants of the Bastille for an article I’m writing. If the pic is too big, click on it to open it in another window.

  1. Beautiful, clear and detailed shot! I have worked hard to get that shade of verdigris on a piece in my garden with limited success. Guess I will have to wait 100 years….

(Tomorrow is Wed and I am ready….) (hehehe)

    • Thanks so much for the compliments, Genie! It’s not easy to do with my camera, believe me. It has 10x zoom, but it only has res. of 3.2! Can you believe it? Yes, it’s an old one.

Look forward to seeing you back here tomorrow ;-).

      See you in the streets,

  2. This turned out so beautifully, Paul! I love how all the scrollwork below the brilliant statue pops in the photo. Great shot.
