Paris by Cell Phone: STRIKE!!!

I took this earlier today on my cell phone at the Charles de Gaulle – Etoile station for Métro line 2. When else can you share a ride home with a gazillion of your closest strangers if not a strike?

Um,why are people waiting for trams that are not running? Have they no rickshaws in Paris? I can only imaging that it would be quicker and more comfortable by water taxi.

    • Hi Ken,

The metro is running, just there are trains every 8 minutes instead of every 2 minutes like a normal day. No rickshaws, the cabs are expensive and the water taxi only works if you live on the water. For the rest of us, there’s nothing left but to wait it out and try to be as patient as possible!

      See you in the streets,

      Paris Paul
