Le Bistrot Gourmand

To supplement my article “Hidden Treasures in Paris’s 17th” (published at Bonjour Paris), I’m posting some additional pictures of the bistro I review in the piece.

Which do you prefer, the fine wines or the coffee by the cup?

  1. LOVE this place. Remind me when I come back to go there. I”ll forget. The only thing I don’t care for is the hideous ketchup bottles. I suppose everyone wants it for their frites but it’s so damn américain! When in Paris…. well you know the drill.

    • Hi Virginia!

It is a really fun place. Let me know when you come and i’ll make reservations for you! The ketchup is there, I imagine, only for the Anglo-Saxon business people that are in the neighborhood. The staff here never put the ketchup on the table and, if you ask, they’re probably going to give you a hard time. Don’t worry, it’s a very French place. 🙂

      See you in the streets,
