Photos of a Muse

This Site is Very Moving…

or at least very moved.

I’ve decided to divide this site into two sites so all the usual fun stuff you find here won’t be here anymore!

If you’re looking for Paris By Cell Phone photos, I keep that over here: Paris By Cell Phone

If you’re looking for my photo blogs about all things Paris, I now keep that with my Paris Fiction, over here: Paris Inspired.

Thanks for your patience and for helping me move!

A Picture of Karin and Me

Virginia over at Paris Through My Lens posted a picture of a reception Karin and I went to. I’m the only one in a tie. (!?)

Street Art

Both of these are found at the Place Fréhel, Paris 20th.

First, a fun trompe l’oeil.

Then there’s this lovely mural.

Une Coupe de Champagne

I was invited as a member of the press (ooh la la) to a gallery vernissage for the show “Anticipation d’une ville” in La Gallery Deafcto at La Défense. (My review of it is here.) This photo is of one of the perks of being an amateur journalist.

I’m Somebody!

“Who dis?”

It’s me! It’s me!

My friend Sab over at Paris Photo Quiz is on a mission to make me famous. As I got one of the answers correct to his Paris quizzes, he sent me a real trophy (and not one of those virtual things I hand out!): Paris Set Me Free bookmarks.

So you can go over to his site and see me being famous and, while you’re there, see if you recognize any of his sites. Even better, he’s lowered the difficulty and now all you have to do is leave a comment to get a fancy shmancy bookmark, which are also good as toothmicks (you’ll see!).

See you in the streets,

Paris Paul

The Grand Rex

Paris Karin and I went with my kids for a behind the scenes tour of the Grand Rex for an article I’m going to write. The tour was like a small scale version of the Universal Studios Tour, but we showed up not knowing to expect and so we had a really fun time. Here are some of the shots I got away with.
